FAQ's
Here you will find some of our most frequently asked questions. Please feel free to email us should your enquiry not be answered here.
Your happiness and satisfaction is at the heart of Whist. We want to deliver you joy! If something is not quite right, please let us know. We will work hard to find a solution.
How long will my products take to get to me?
At Whist, we like to send your wax product as freshly made as possible. So, we state a guideline shipping time of 7 days. However, we aim to get your products out to you in less time than that.
How much is delivery?
Our standard delivery is £3.99. Orders over £30 enjoy free UK delivery.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
At the moment, we can only ship to the UK. Sorry! It is something we are looking at, and I will update this page when the situation changes.
Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
Whist is predominately, an essential oil brand. Although essential oils are around 4 times the cost of synthetic fragrance oils for a candle maker to use, I believe they are worth it. I am passionate about aromatherapy and the beautiful mental wellbeing benefits they could bring. All of our products, except our Maple Leaf Wax Melts, are essential oils. The Maple Leaf melts are a combination of essential oils and high quality fragrance oils. Please see our Fragrance Promise page for a full explanation.
What wax do you use?
We use a 100% plant based, natural wax. Our wax contains UK/European grown rapeseed wax, and a tiny bit of sustainable coconut wax for stability. Thats it! No additives or chemical stabilisers.
Are your products cruelty free?
Yes. A million percent yes! I am a passionate animal lover, vegan and animal activist. I am an ambassador for World Animal Protection, and have spent much of my life volunteering for various animal charities. There is no compromise at all on our products being cruelty free and vegan.
Where are your products made?
I blend, make and pour every single one of your Whist wax products myself, here at my workshop in the Essex countryside. In busier times, you will often find my husband Nik, helping to pack up your beautiful products, my Mum sewing bows and my sons taping up boxes. It is all hands on deck!
Can I send a gift set to someone direct?
Yes of course. Just let us know that it is a gift, and where you would like it sent.
